Recently the Kings launched their season ticket drive. Here’s the release from the club, who have lowered ticket prices and have brought them down to $179 which is just over $6 per game…

The Dauphin Kings Junior A Hockey Club has drastically reduced its season ticket price for the 2016-17 season, and will launch the sale of its Early Bird Season Ticket Packages at its first home playoff game.

This year’s Early Bird Season Ticket Package will be available for only $199, a $50 savings over last year’s early bird price.  This price is in effect until June 30th and is your chance to get the best “per game value” of the season at $6.86 per game, based on a 29-game schedule.

As extra incentive to buy early, the Kings are excited to introduce their “First to 100” Ticket Package.  The first 100 people to buy their tickets will receive their season tickets for just $179 per ticket!  This offer will end after the 100th ticket is sold or until the end of the playoffs, whichever comes first.

Tickets will be available on the concourse at playoff games.

The Student Season Ticket will once again be available, at $99.  All ticket prices are exclusive of taxes and fees.  Due to the low ticket price, the Seniors Season Ticket will not be offered this year.

As a further benefit of purchasing a season ticket, the Manitoba Junior Hockey League has entered into a partnership with Dauphin’s Countryfest, offering special pricing on Countryfest tickets to all MJHL season ticket holders.

After the early-bird period, starting on July 4th, adult season ticket packages will be $209 (compared to $249 last season).  All seats will also be released at this time.  Ticket packages will be available for pick-up at the Kings’ exhibition games in September.

Walk-up tickets for 2016-17 will be reduced to $10 (from $13) for adults, while the student price (13 and up) will remain at $5 and children 12 and under will get in for free.  These walk-up prices will also be in effect during this 2015-16 play-off season!

Another significant change being introduced due to fan feedback, is that the game start time will be changed to 7:30pm for all home games.

Kings Seek Applications For Head Coach & GM

The club also announced recently they are looking to applications for the Head Coach and GM position. This does not mean current Head Coach & GM Marc Berry will not be around next year, it’s just the Kings having all their bases covered when it comes to the end of the season. The release from the club is below. I had time to speak with Co-Director Of Finance, Dean Cooley and Marketing Director, Carla Wolfenden about all the things above (Season tickets, playoff tickets and more).

Dean Cooley starts by discussing the fact the club is looking for Head Coach and GM applications, but that doesn’t mean Marc Berry is done after this season…

Below is the release from the club that can be found on their website…
